Delete my account and data
The Knowa app, published by Omar Kissous · Last updated: August 16, 2026
Knowa requires no account: no email address, no password, no sign-up. The only thing that exists on our servers is a copy of your learning profile, stored under a random identifier. Deleting it takes two taps.
From the app (recommended)
- Open Knowa, then go to Settings.
- Tap “Delete my data” and confirm.
What this deletes, immediately
The server copy of your learning profile is erased, everything stored on your phone as well (settings, history, streak, kept explanations), and the app starts fresh with a new identifier. There is no other place where your data lives.
If you already uninstalled the app
Uninstalling Knowa already deletes everything that was on your phone. What remains is the server copy of the profile: it is stored under a random identifier that cannot identify you — without it, nobody can link it to you. Not us, not anyone.
If you still want it searched for and erased, write to contact@appknowa.com and describe your request. We answer and process every deletion request within 30 days.
What is kept, and for how long
- After deleting from the app: nothing. No profile, no history, no settings.
- Aggregated counters (how many times a topic was played, liked…) contain no identifier: they are not personal data and cannot be linked to anyone.
- Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) are anonymous and kept by the service for at most 90 days.
- Support emails are kept for as long as it takes to reply, then deleted on request.
The details of what the app stores are in the privacy policy.
